Throughout his time as a semi-pro racing driver, Shaun has balanced his family life and family business T.Balfe Construction. He has a long lasting relationship with his mechanics, who are all very supportive and enjoy each other’s company both inside and outside the sport.
Interests:
Shaun lives in Lincolnshire with his wife and they have two children. His interests outside motorsport include cycling, and he is a keen runner – competing in the London 2012 Marathon with a finishing time of 4 hours 22 mins. He enjoys keeping fit by visiting the local gym and likes live music, attending gigs with his wife and friends.
